J. Timothy Swanson, D.D.S.

Dr. Tim Swanson attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees from the University of Minnesota and completed a family practice residency at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Boston. Dr. Tim then spent two years at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, practicing clinical dentistry and conducting research. He also took post­graduate courses at Walter Reed Army Hospital and Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Tim and his wife, Kathy, returned to Minneapolis where he spent five years with a large group dental practice before opening his present office in 1976. He taught dental assisting on a part-time basis for three years. Dr. Tim and Kathy have four children and reside in Orono.

Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and the Minnetonka Dental Study Club.

Justin S. Swanson, D.D.S.

Dr. Justin Swanson finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia before entering the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry from oral surgery to cosmetic procedures and avidly pursues the latest advancements in the field of dentistry.

He enjoys skiing, boating, golfing and many other outdoor activities in his free time. Dr. Justin resides in Wayzata and welcomes new patients to his office in Minnetonka.

Matthew Swanson, D.D.S.

Dr. Matthew Swanson attended the United States Air Force Academy before completing his dental degree from the University of Minnesota. After graduating in 2007 he completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Eglin Air Force Base, Fl where he earned his IV sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support credentials.

Following his residency he practiced at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho and Yokota Air Force Base, Tokyo, Japan before joining Swanson Family Dentistry.

Dr. Swanson enjoys providing implant, oral surgery, endodontic and restorative services to his patients. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors and flying small aircraft.
